In 2000 this band acquired its name "Imlitala", which is a sanskrit word, that means: " The magic tree of love". At the beginning they were closer to the drum and afro music. But from the 2002 they have been playing the style they keep today. Their style is a mix of rock and other tendencies as funk, reggae, and the lyrics are about social problems, and also spiritual subjects.

Imlitala: El año 2000, nos conformamos con el nombre de IMLITALA un termino sanscrito que significa: el árbol mágico del amor, en aquella época estábamos más cerca de los ritmos batuqueros y afrolatinos. Ya en el 2002 comenzamos a trabajar como la banda que hoy está en servicio activo. Nuestro estilo es una fusion de de rock y otras tendencias como el funk y el reggae, y en terminos liricos, proponemos letras conscientes y contingentes en el plano de lo ecológico, de lo social y lo espiritual.
